When we launched our COVID Symptom Study appeal just over three weeks ago, we never could have imagined the response it would have! It's thanks to your generous donations that we have hit our fundraising target of £1m. Your donations will keep the COVID Symptom Study alive and prove invaluable as we enter the next phase of the fight against COVID-19.

From our team to all of the amazing citizen scientists supporting this project, we want to say thank you! You are helping us to keep working to support the NHS, the health of the UK public, and to facilitate the safe release of lockdown through science.

The COVID Symptom Study is the largest community-powered COVID research project in the world with over 3.7 million contributors. This project is saving lives through science and will play an essential role over the next year to support our healthcare system and the wider UK community. Please help us to keep this study going through your participation and donations. The money raised will fund the team of over 50 researchers, data scientists, engineers and scientists working to support our health and the country’s future.

Please continue to report your health daily, even if you are well, and share the app with friends and family to help us identify new COVID cases and potential hotspots earlier as lockdown measures are relaxed.

Keep up to date with our latest research updates and UK COVID data.
